What I Baked Today: Banana Split Bars

Banana Granola Bars IIAll this time I’ve been making my A+mazing granola yet I never made granola bars. That all changed when I tastespotted these yummy Banana Split Bars over on Skinnytaste. These bars contain a few of my favorite and current ingredients: quinoa, bananas, and chocolate. I’ve already mentioned my current obsession with quinoa so you know I had to give these bars a try. They are wonderful and healthy treat after your workout, a mid afternoon snack, or for breakfast with a side of yogurt. Nothing compares to the taste of a homemade granola bar. Even the best processed bars don’t come close to these. Homemade is always best and these are chock full of fiber and protein.
