What I Ate Today: Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas  Every evening like clockwork I get the munchies for a salty crunchy snack. I am a night-time grazer by nature and it is for this reason that I avoid buying large bags of chips and other not so healthy calorie ridden snacks. Now that I am cohabitating with others the temptation to munch is omnipresent. To satiate my craving but keep my calories and waistline low I munch on air popped popcorn or Roasted Chickpeas. They are one of my favorite beans and when I’m not eating them in a salad I roast them on low heat for about an hour with a drizzle of olive oil and a dash of sea salt. There you have it Healthy.Crunchy.Salty.
