This is my first time reading the author.

I cried about a dozen times reading this tiny little book. So I guess I loved it.

Nina is an amazing character. She's a realistic modern teen. I found her very realistic, beautiful, bold, brash at times, flawed but so real she lived and breathed.

The book contains stories between chapters that Nina wrote for a school project. The stories are about women, female saints and the terrible things they had to endure because of their sex. I loved them. They were amazing.

So much happens in What Girls Are Made Of considering the book is so short. I really felt for Nina.

This book is absolutely stunning.
