Last week, I visited Lancaster New City, Cavite and roamed around. Little did I know that I can’t really roam around it by simply walking because the whole place is huge! Huge, as in 1,400 hectares huge. So I stayed in Downtown Lancaster and waited for the light show instead.
I was told that the light show started a few weeks back until January 3rd every Saturday and Sundays from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Each show runs for about 20 minutes with 30 minute interval per show. And of course I did take a short video of the show, just for you, guys. ^^
While watching the show, it made me think that: This is what Christmas should really be like, having a little laugh with your friends and family around the Christmas tree. Or lights and medley of Christmas songs in this case. And just so you know, if you think that you got enough of the light show, there is a Banchetto and Bazaar around the corner, where you can shop and eat your heart out. Yeah, it is really nice there, if you’ll ask me. I was a little sad when I leave, to be honest.
Oh, I forgot to mention that in The Church of the Holy Family, right inside Lancaster New City will also celebrate Simbang Gabi from December 16 to 23. This community pretty much has everything that a resident would need and look for. Trust me when I say that this chapel is such a beauty.
To those of you, who still haven’t heard about this Lancaster New City, let me tell you a brief info about this so called community.
As I said earlier, the Lancaster New City is a huge one with over 1,400 hectares covering the municipalities of Kawit and Gen. Trias and the city of Imus and a project of Pro-Friends. You will actually see the (I think their tag line) LIVE, LEARN, WORK, PLAY, and PRAY words in downtown Lancaster, which stands for a few things.
. LIVE, because it is a safe and secure place to live and start a family and has an easy access to the Cavitex Toll Exit which makes it easier to the residents that have work in Manila. LEARN because schools are just an easy walk away from their homes. WORK which stands for work, because residents can work just a street away from their home thru the PEZA-accredited Suntech iPark and that means more time with their families. This community would not be complete with a sort-of-mall called The Square. Families can enjoy their free day shopping, having dinner, and for the kids to PLAY. And last but not the least, PRAY – insert The Church of the Holy Family here.
So yeah, the residents at Lancaster New City pretty much have everything in there. They don’t have to go anywhere to buy and look for the things they need because it’s all there! What more are you looking for in The Family Friendly City. Plus, there is a light show every weekend too. #ProfriendsDelivers #LancasterNewCity #TheFamilyFriendlyCity
