Almost a-year-and-a-half passed since we last featured a track from Dutch duo Coolen / Scholte more known as Weval. Since then legendary label Kompakt picked them up and is releasing their new EP titled EASIER later this fall. When listening to “Gimme Some” it’s easy to hear why, since it fits nicely along with some of the labels more notable restrained microhouse acts like The Field and Dauwd. It’s impressive how far Weval come since last year’s promising but in comparison amateurish Half Age EP.
