Westside Cowboy have shared new single ‘Don’t Throw Rocks’ ahead of the release of second EP ‘So Much Countryy ‘Till We Get There’ via Island Records imprint Adventure Recordings on 16 January, 2026.
Originally starting life as a ‘fuzzy drum machine demo that Jimmy made in his bedroom’, the song finds the four-piece reflecting on the passing of time – and how it’s out of our control. With dual vocals and its alt-folk influences shining through, there’s a touch of Divorce and Bright Eyes in the band’s retrospective and reflective self-assessments: ‘Windows crack and a ceiling collapses. There’s nothing left to give under that weight. I broke my pencil and it seems that I couldn’t find the time to say goodbye’.
