Emily and Matt had an amazing old Hollywood wedding. Emily even DIY-ed the fabulous centerpieces - white feathers in tall vases which softened the black and red motif. The couple stayed true to their theme by having an oscar trophy at their guestbook table and cardboard cutouts of famous Hollywood actors scattered around. The personalized M&M candies that have their faces and wedding date are all amazing!
Emily and Matt had their wedding on a Thursday in January. It was actually their 8th Anniversary of the time they started dating. They had an old Hollywood themed wedding, with cardboard cut-outs of old Hollywood movie stars with old movies playing in the big screen during dinner. Emily is a designer, so she DIY'ed her entire wedding and created all of her centrepieces in her basement. The venue was at the Metro Banquet Hall in New Westminster, BC. It was a beautiful lounge that has actually been used as a movie set multiple times, which is kind of perfect.
