KenZo
What I have recently been oodling and OMG-shing over are the leopard prints and so many are seen on the resort 2013 runways. But Kenzo took the jungle and the leopards and derived a whole new meaning for 'inspired by the wild'. The leopard prints are everywhere, from dresses to skirts to every imaginable accessory. Also the thing to note is that the print used is of a specific leopard, know as the clouded leopard, native only to East Asia. But that didn't stop there, to be spotted on some fabulous pieces are whole tigers roaming around the silhouette like back in the wild.
I am so much in love with the volume and the cuts of the whole collection, also the color combinations have been beautifully miss-matched to give it a unique quality. Totally loving the accessories too, be it the little clutch or the leopard print flats, even sandals. A special mention for the two-tone sunglasses here, as I just can not get them out of my mind!
Note: this collection was inspired by the designers' travels to the wild and truly reflects the majestic beast in all its glory. A very innovative take on the old classic leopards in fashion.
