Welcome to MN Blog!

By Mystatelove @mystatelove

Ahh…first post. This is going to be fun I can already tell :) First things first, let me introduce myself and my partners in crime to you.

Welcome to MN Blog!

My name is Sarah. I’m a graduate from UMD and back in school for Nursing. I was born and raised in Cloquet, MN and now reside in St. Paul with my husband Joe and our dog Stella who you will meet in just a second. My “job” besides not seeing the light of day while school is in session, is this. Blogging for MN Blog. Pretty sweet gig am I right?

Joe and Stella

And these are my partners in crime. Joe graduated from the U of M and is now back there for his Master’s. He was borned and raised in Esko, MN and obviously lives with me in St. Paul. He’s the mastermind behind our new project so if you have any questions, especially technical questions, he’s your guy. And then there’s Stella. She joined our family this past January and is the main reason for most of our hikes. The girl likes to run around and explore – she takes after her own parents.

Now that introductions are out of the way and we’ve formally met, on to the good stuff. The whole purpose of this blog is to share with you our love for Minnesota. I mean, some of you either live here, have family here or have taken an occasional visit to our neck of the woods. Others of you may have never been on Minnesota soil and you know what, that’s okay. Maybe after reading a few posts on here you’ll think, “Wow…I am missing out on a whole lot of awesomeness” and then immediately start planning your trip to come see us. One can dream right?!

So what can you expect to read on here?

Anything and everything my friends. It could be a really cool park we explored with our dog, Stella or where we last had dinner last night. It could even be who had the best deep fried food on a stick at the Minnesota State Fair this year. You just never know what you’re going to read because we just never know where we’ll end up.

I also have a little confession. We need your help. As much as we’d love to quit or jobs, get out of school and travel every back road and trail of Minnesota, our guilty conscious always steps in and reminds us how lucky we are to work for the man and pay the mortgage. So with that being said, if you have any adventures of your own that you’d like to share with the rest of us please feel free to email us at [email protected]. I can see your “cool” status rising after doing something like that. I’m serious.

I’ll end here today. Just know you’re invited back again soon to see where we’ve been or where our other fellow Minnesotans have been lately. Take care my friends!

Sarah
