Welcome the New Year with Open Arms

By Clari @clarisaysblog

Entra el vino. Entra el arroz. Entra el gracia de Dios. It may sound gibberish to some but these words help start our day. My grandfather would say these upon opening the main door of our house and leave it open 'til 4pm.

But when he passed away, this practice was forgotten.

For some unknown reason, I woke up extremely early today, walked straight to our main door, and opened it. Slowly I mouthed the words my grandfather used to say and greeted my surroundings a Feliz Año Nuevo!

Welcome the New Year with Open Arms

Happy New Year, dear reader! How was your first day of the year?

Today is the first blank page of our planners. Well it should be, "Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book." But since that's already today, let's take Brad Paisley's advice to write a good one.

365 Days
My 2014 was a rollercoaster ride. Unfortunately, it's not the type that Augustus Waters had in mind and I'm okay with that. People have problems and some do fall down. If you find yourself in this situation, make sure you get back up again. No matter how difficult the situation is, you should never get tired of standing up. Remember, we have around 365.242 days.

Let's all try not to waste any and that's what I plan to do.

I may not have a New Year's resolution but as I've mentioned before I choose attainable goals and plans. The MunixMoonLeaf2014Planner inspired me through the Pledge Doodle Space. This is where I wrote down my Major Goals as well as Mini Goals for the year 2014. Though it's not yet complete, I was able to attain half of it.

This 2015, I am hopeful and determined to attain the rest of my listed goals. My planner is ready to be filled with my words. I hope you are also ready to face the year. :)

For some good vibes, I would like to share some photos and a video of colorful lights that filled my holiday vacation.

Enjoy and Happy 2015!
