I've made these kinds of posts way, way too much.
But you know what? I'm okay with that. Yes, it's all redundant. I'm going to start publishing a lot more. I miss doing Officially Hoops. It was fun, a journey, something to do while bored and more importantly a challenge. I am excited to be back and doing this for good. Of course I'll still be pursuing other things outside of this, but it will prove to be all well in good time.
Officially Hoops has been all over the place, as has my time with sports media. First called, The Hoops Nation, then OfficallyHoops.com, then abandoned, then OfficiallyHoops.net, then abandoned again, then OfficiallyHoops.com being registered with WordPress (boy was that a waste of money), to now finally saying "what the heck" and just coming back to where I started. I also believe that it is nice because this site has been online since June 3, 2011, which is something I personally see as an accomplishment. The site has stacked well over 45,000 page views and thousands of different unique visitors. I also would like to take the site to YardBarker or something along the line sod the sorts.
Now that I am almost 19-years-old (in two days actually) I feel that it is good time to finally get back to what I used to enjoy so much. Obviously, I won't be focusing on the actual writing side of this site. More of the freelance posting, web design and more things like the actual basketball content of it all. I am currently an AAU basketball coach and an aspiring college basketball coach. So it would make sense to just go with the flow and see what happens!
