The theme for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is Thankful. My gut instinct is that I am thankful for my family. We have had a tough couple of years but we are still a strong family and there for each other. How to represent my family without showing a family portrait so I decided to use photographs to represent all the happy memories I have and to show the passing of time by using old photograph albums and up to date PC folders of photographs.
I am also very thankful for my health particularly my eyesight which given the amount of reading I do, particularly about gardening and horticulture, is very important to me. I can’t imagine not being able to read. I also do a lot of sewing and knitting which needs good eyesight and then there is the garden – I can’t imagine not being able to see my garden.
