Weekly Fashion Fix: Urban Culture Prints

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
I've decided to start blogging each week about my favorite items out on the highstreets.  This week is about standing out and there is no better way than in exciting prints. There are so many different types of prints around at the moment, but personally I'm particularly loving all these beautiful statement ones below.  There are so many ways to wear them as well, one of my personal favourites is the printed leggings and wearing them with either plain shirts or statement retro tees for that grunge 90's look.
These are my personal favourites from Miss Selfridge - Natural Animal Denim Leggings

The next pair are from ProdigyRed and these Kimmy Leopard Pattern Leggings are an absolute bargain of a price.

I'm aware some people wont dare pull of leopard print, but as long as you don't over do it and end up like Doreen from Birds of a Feather... you should be fine.  Ideally I'd reccommend teaming this with a plain black chiffon shirt and some loafers.
Next on my print list is Aztec.  Now, Aztec prints have been buzzing around for the last few months and I'll admit some have been awful. However, I do love these ones from ProdigyRed, and just like their Kimmy leopard print leggings - these Ava Aztec Pattern Leggings are a bargain.

The leggings above are again from Miss Selfridge and are Aztec Stripe Leggings  These leggings feel slightly more sublt than others I've seen, but are still a statement in their own

You could try something a bit more daring with this fab Topshop Mix Animal Bodycon for £40.00.  I was a bit unsure to start with but I actually think this dress is amazing, with the details of fabric that is gathered and obviously the extravagant print... you're certain to stand out.  I'd suggest keeping everything else low key, so very simple black heels, maybe some tribal inspired bangles and just to keep it edgy some red nail polish.

Last but not least, I'm a big fan of this dress from Miss Selfridge. Have a look at their Urban Culture collection - Plus better yet Miss Selfridge are giving students a fantastic 20% off at the moment! It's worth a look...
