What a glorious and marvelously delightful weekend! Sunny and blue skies prevailed and we were a huge hit at the first annual Devour Rochester Wine and Culinary Classic held at the Memorial Art Gallery this past Saturday. This was a new fundraising event put on by the Averell Council to raise money for the Gallery. We were one of many premiere artisanal food vendors invited to attend the swanky and fabulous affair. Food, wine, tastings how could we refuse? The community responded enmasse and the event was a huge success. We cannot wait to attend next year.

Planning and prepping for networking and promotional events is always a bear but when you have the level of positive response and reception that Blossom and I had this past Saturday; it makes all the fatigue, headache, and exhaustion worth it. To say that people came out and devoured is as understatement. We completely ran out of mini cupcake and ganache brownie samples in a few short hours and we were nothing short of stunned and amazed. To hear people rave and glow about our products is humbling and terrifying at the same time. We are still in shock and awe that we are literally living out our dream. But to actually hear real life in person feedback truly humbling and the icing on our cake. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be right where we are and every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears that we have shed in making this vision happen has been worth it. Doing what you love, serving people and making people happy is simply the best and I will continue to relish every moment!
