Weekend Box Office: ‘Lego’ Still Tops, Costner Destroys ‘Pompeii’

A really lackluster weekend, but what is notable is how large the drops were for the three romantic entries last week. Kevin Hart’s About Last Night and Winter’s Tale both plummeted 71% in their second week. Both films and Endless Love will all have second weekend drops in the 100 largest second weekend drops of all time.

1) The Lego Movie- 31.4M Weekend, 183.1M Total

2) 3 Days To Kill- 12.3M Weekend, 12.3M Total

3) Pompeii- 10.3M Weekend, 10.3M Total

4) Robocop- 9.6M Weekend, 43.8M Total (down 56%)

5) Monuments Men- 7.9M Weekend, 58M Total

6) About Last Night- 7.3M Weekend, 38M Total (down 71%!)

7) Ride Along- 4.6M Weekend, 123.1M Total

8) Frozen- 4.4M Weekend, 384.1M Total

9) Endless Love- 4.1M Weekend, 20M Total (down 69%!)

10) Winter’s Tale- 2.1M Weekend, 11.2M Total (down 71%!)
