Wee Ride Kangaroo Bike Seat

By Bgme @babygearmom

We like to bike ride as a family.  Even my toddler has enjoyed laps with his training wheels. Still, he can be a little hesitant, understandably, with certain terrains and inclines.  And let’s face it, he’s not as fast as the rest of the clan – yet.

I’ve had passenger seats before.  My biggest issue?  Baby was behind me so I was never to fully enjoy the experience, constantly checking in.  It’s just my own comfort level.  And, who wants to look at Mom’s back the whole time?  Where’s the fun in that?

The Wee Ride Kangaroo seat allows baby to sit in front of you so your baby is in sight at all times; kind of like a bike pouch – get it?   This passenger seat works for children ages 1 to 4, and even has convenient, adjustable.  “foot cups” to work as baby grows.  The experience is definitely more personal and I have more peace of mind.  I can reach out and hug my baby in a snap.  It’s also easier for me to take him and out of the bike seat when he’s in front, versus behind me.

The Wee Ride has your standard straps to keep baby secure and a flat panel in front if they want to hold on to or lean on.  Installation was pretty easy.  It seems to work best with female bikes that have the lower bar.  Find it for $60 to $75 depending where you buy.  Wal-mart carries it.  Learn more at www.weeride.com.  Don’t forget the helmet!
