Wedding at Hestercombe Gardens
I last met with Laura and James for their engagement shoot in London earlier this year (Click HERE to see it). They live in Bahrain and have been coming back and forth to organize everything. The weather wasn’t quite up to the Bahrain heat but I do think we had all 4 season in one day! After a fantastic ceremony in The Orangery and the drinks reception, Laura had quite a surprise for James and the guests. Suddenly over the hill, appeared Maori men and women who performed a Haka as well as traditional songs. James was born in New Zealand so this was very close to his heart. This in addition to a live singer kept everyone entertained for the reception drinks.
When I met with Laura and James at Hestercombe a year ago, Laura mentioned a building high on a hill that she would like some images at. After the speeches and with light dropping fast, we headed up the hill. Laura decided to leave her Jimmy Choo’s and walk barefoot Both of them seemed super relaxed and I got a selection of images for them. I left the wedding party with the dancefloor jumping and a great atmosphere.
Here is just a selection of images from their day. Please feel free to comment or share.
