Loyal Readers:
We are so sorry we haven’t been as loyal as you! We’ve had a major unplanned hiatus for the following reasons:
- Our wonderful but crazy October’s Month of the Macabre celebration that required sometimes three or four posts per day left us a little empty.
- The fact that I host Thanksgiving for 20 people at my house, and so this means that the entire month of November is dedicated to deep cleaning. Grout-scrubbing, oven-cleaning, baseboard-brushing cleaning.
- Justine runs the social media and elementary school children’s ministry at our church in addition to being a mom to her two precious girls.
- We. Are. Busy.
And sometimes you just need a break. You can get burnt out even on the stuff that you love, like reading and blogging, and sometimes you need to step away to remind yourself why and how you love it so much!
With that said, we should start posting regularly again soon (with GIVEAWAYS to boot!) but it will probably still be a little slower than it was before. I, personally, may start accepting less review requests (authors: read this to find out how to increase your chances of being accepted) and read a little more of what I truly want to read, regardless of the views I think it will garner on the blog.
Let us know in the comments what you’ve liked so far and what you would like to see more of, especially since the posts may be a bit more sparse than they were before!
