Story – The story here will follow a teenage girl who gets involved in a twisted online role-playing horror game, that will soon start to consume her life, as her videos become more disturbing as she continues to play. This is a story that comes off strange, while it looks to get over two big messages, one be careful about the internet and how far you could go down dark rabbit holes and how loneliness could make people do things they wouldn’t normally do. The story does feel like it ends up showing the random videos, which will not get as explained to the full extend.
Themes – We’re All Going to the World’s Fair is a horror that will show the horrors the darker side of the internet can hold, while filling the film with disturbing images about what people will do to become important within this world. The effects used are strong to show each one of the images we are put through.
Final Thoughts – We’re All Going to the World’s Fair is an odd horror that isn’t afraid to show the disturbing parts of the internet.
