Plot: Kevin’s (Miller) mother Eva (Swinton) struggles to love her strange child, despite the increasingly vicious things he says and does as he grows up. But Kevin is just getting started and his final act will be beyond anything anyone imagined.
Verdict: Cause, Affect to Actions
Story: Many films will focus on the build up to a shocking moment or the aftermath and usually on the person or people involved. We follow the mother of someone who has done something terrible and watch her suspect something is wrong as well as dealing with the aftermath of those action. The story is brave as we have to see how she is dealing with everything but not in a horror show like other films have done. (9/10)

Tilda Swinton: Eva the mother of Kevin who is dealing with all the problems before and after the incident. Tilda is fantastic in the role as the woman struggling with everything. (10/10)
John C Reilly: Franklin the husband to Eva and father to Kevin who tries to see the best in him as Kevin seems to have more of a dislike to his mother, Franklin encourages Kevin to develop. Good performance for John who shows he can fit in any film role. (9/10)
Ezra Miller: Kevin the estranged teenager who has a darker side and we follow what he does and how it affects him after. Good performance from the young man who shows a dark side throughout. (9/10)
Director Review: Lynne Ramsay – Creates a wonderful film that really keeps your attention without giving away too much. (9/10)
