We Made This On The Twitter

Posted on the 11 March 2013 by Jslubinski @jslubinski

What do you get when you ask folks to tweet you some iambic pentameter at 8:30 on a Sunday evening?

You get this somewhat Greek, somewhat meteorological poem (that I have assembled from several contributions, edited just a bit):

Unlearned and learned alike, the bitter reciter
That under sun and moon puts to flight
The asymmetrical, unrhymed, syllabic choral meter,
Unto fiery horizon, a preponderance of orange and white.

Thank you to @GRinFlorida, @Eneroj, and @jimlohmar for submitting. And @CureT1Diabetes, I’d love to see a cure for Type 1 diabetes too but pancreas is tough to rhyme. I’ll work on it.
