Strappy camisole, River Island; Flounce hem skirt, Mong Kok Centre boutique; Maxi cardigan, H&M; Metallic pointed toe flats, F&F; Firmoo sunglasses; Chloé Baylee. And so begins the humidity and the heat in Hong Kong.
Whenever I'm in Hong Kong and the heat is unbearable, I turn to the basics. Simple, light, loose and pale coloured pieces, and look ma! No tights ;) After about 3 outfit changes yesterday, I opted for this little ensemble to hang out with Sophia for shopping and food. Ran lots of errands in an unglamorous T-shirt and jeans get-up so I wanted the complete opposite for doing actual things. I think it might be finally time to retire the 90's camisoles that I was obsessed with last year. I can't resist them but it's time for pastures anew. Nevertheless, I popped one on with this flounce hem skirt that I adore - so Dolce & Gabbana SS15! Whipped on my metallic flats that I absolutely adore (they make any outfit feel like lots of thought went into it) and stashed lots of essentials in my darling Chloé Baylee.
We actually ended up taking a detour to the Hong Kong Botanical and Zoological Gardens. Completely free, it's a huge garden up lots of stairs in Central, tucked behind the Peak Tram. Managed to hang out with tortoises, flamingos, monkeys and birds, all whilst sweating like a loony. x
