On Thursday I went down to Manchester with my boyfriend for part of his birthday present. I'd ordered tickets for us to see Yellowcard on their Ocean Avenue Acoustic tour and decided we should make a full day (and a bit) of it!

Especially when I had to hop a fence when we were walking to the venue for the gig (don't trust google maps on your phone!) It's the same smock dress I wore when I interviewed Don Broco which you can see here. I was really happy these boots turned up in the morning before we'd planned to leave. I'd been looking for some chelsea boots and found this bargain of a pair for £17.99 on eBay, too good to pass up!
Despite hopping a fence and being pretty cold (a blazer isn't the warmest of jackets on an evening) the gig was amazing! I got front row tickets which were really close but then when Yellowcard came out they told us to move forward and we sat directly in front of them. I still can't quite get over it. Best gig I've ever been to!
