Go Greena Ltd is looking to appoint a Domestic Energy Assessor to produce energy performance certificates for boiler replacements in domestic properties around the North West area. You will be required to collect data relating to the physical attributes of each property, report on the efficiency of the existing boiler and accurately enter the data into computer software to produce an energy efficiency rating and EPC certificate. Ideally you will be experienced in working on all types of domestic gas appliances and controls and in locating and rectifying faults.
Principle responsibilities:
- Accurately capture and record relevant data whilst ensuring compliance with regulation framework
- Create and provide the customer with an energy performance certificate which fulfils both the customer needs and all relevant legislative requirements
- Use knowledge and experience to demonstrate to the customer how the energy efficiency of the home can be improved by the installation of relevant energy saving measures
- Ensure that administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures and that all results from energy assessments are accurately recorded and submitted promptly
- Coordinate with external contractors and internal departments to ensure that KPI’s are adhered to
- Effectively manage a workload by utilising full diary availability
- Resolve any procedural or customer issues that may arise and seeks timely ways to make improvements
- Comply with health and safety, legislation and audit requirements
Key Experience/Qualifications:
- Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Qualification (Essential)
- Must be Gas Safe registered
- Must hold core domestic gas safety CCN1, CEN1,CPA1
- Previous experience of installing gas central heating systems in domestic properties
- Previous experience of conforming to Gas Safety Installation and Use Regulations

Additional Information:
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 6:00pm. A full driving license is required as the role will involve travel in and around the North West area. We offer full training and support within a fast growing and reputable company in addition to a competitive basic salary plus a price paid per lodgement. All lodgement fees are funded by the company. We also provide the use of a company vehicle.
Interviews will be held in December for a January 2014 start date.
