- Candidates must pass Madhyamik or equivalent with qualifying marks.

- Candidates must have Trade Certificate in Broad Based Basic Training (BBBT) under NVCT, issued by any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, West Bengal and Specialized/Advanced Training in Electrical Sector (2 years Training)

WBSEDCL Employment Bond
Candidates selected for the posts are required to sign a bond of ₹ 1,00,000/- and are required to serve the Organisation for a minimum of 4 years from the date of joining. This includes 1 year Probation period and 3 years of Employment Service. Confirmation of candidature will be decided after Probation Period.

Steps to Apply:
- Visit the official website and click on the “Careers” tab.
- You must have a valid email id for WBSEDCL to send you any notifications regarding WBSEDCL Recruitment 2020.
- Fees must be deposited in any branch of United Bank of India through bank Challan. The Challan may be downloaded after filling up details in Application Form.
- After successfully depositing the Application Fee, you will get SOL ID and Transaction ID. These IDs have to be entered in the WBSEDCL Application Form to complete the submission process.
- You should keep a copy of Challan for future references.
WBSEDCL Recruitment 2020 Selection Criteria
- Selection will be based on a three-layered process – Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test, and Personal Interview.
- Once candidates are selected in all the three rounds, a mandatory Pre-Employment Medical Test will be conducted.
- Shortlisting of candidates for Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be based on the ratio of 1:5, based on the performance in the written examination.
- The CPT Exam will be held in Kolkata. If there is an increased number of WBSEDCL Applications, then candidates will be called for Personal Interview in Durgapur/Siliguri.
- Selection of candidates for Personal Interview will be in the ratio 1:3.
- final selection will be based on candidates performance in the examinations, fulfillment of Eligibility criteria and available vacancies as per Government of West Bengal rules and regulations.
