While in New York last month for Fashion Week, I popped into the Kate Spade Madison Avenue store for the first time. While going through floor after floor of Kate Spade dreaminess I eventually made it to the top.

After passing through the glassware (umm, amazing) I went through two big double doors only to find the store manager waiting with a glass of water for me in the most perfectly decorated Kate Spade suite (leopard couch and all), overlooking Madison Avenue and a rack (yes an entire rack) of dresses with shoes to match in my size. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have to pinch myself because this was just oh so perfect.

After going through quite a handful of perfect pieces, I came across this Kate Spade pink & rose watercolor dress. I am not sure if it pink & rose watercolor print or the skinny belt complete with a bow but I knew this dress was the one I wanted to go home with.

Pink, although bright, cheerful and often associated with spring & summer is actually such a great color to wear throughout the fall when it is on the warmer side. The lady-like print combined with the sophisticated shape and warm tones makes this dress perfect to wear from everything to a bridal shower, luncheon, cocktail party or a wedding. With the combination of the blush and rose this Kate Spade watercolor coby dress from their Madison Collection is my go-to dress this fall and then into spring and summer.
