The Kalutara Division Crime Investigation Unit says that a driver of the Water Supply and Drainage Board was arrested in Payagala Maggona area with a stock of ‘Ice’ drugs worth Rs.4.8 million. The Police have seized 365 grams of ‘Ice’ found in the suspect’s possession.
Ths suspect was arrested according to information received by the Kalutara Division Crime Investigation Unit.
The police had found the drugs hidden in his underwear. The arrested suspect is a resident of Munhena in Payagala. A police officer said that investigations will be conducted to find out from which area and from whom the suspect bought the drugs.
