Watch Two Animations Based on Sci-fi Movies in 60 Seconds

I’m impressed and creatively refreshed when I see someone take an iconic entity and make something new from it or find a way to re-tell a story in a completely different way, retaining the spirit of the original.

Here I have a perfect example of this case.

Guys at 1A4 Studio, who are phckn awesome animation until death do them part, brings the Speedrun animations. Speedruns are trailers\animated summaries of movies of 60 seconds. They have inaccurate “seconds” but are definitely cool to watch. So check them out…

Speedrun: Matrix in 60 seconds

Put machines, dreams, Neo, dystopia, and more machines into a blender and chug it really fast – that’s the taste of this condensed version of the 1999 hit movie.

And…

Speedrun: Back to the Future I in 60 seconds

This condensed version of the 1985 hit movie travels MUCH faster than 88 miles per hour.
