I have to admit, I was surprised that they killed uncle Mac off of Greenleaf last night, because Gregalan Williams did an awesome job playing the character. I know, I know, I know, he was a pedophile, so he had to go, I get it.
Well, Oprah explains in a newly released video on OWN, how the writers, and producers went back and forth about the decision and why in the end, they decided uncle Mac had to go.
Also in the video, Gregalan Williams breaks down in tears as he explains what he went through when he felt the weight of the character lifting off of him.
“I didn’t realize how burdensome it was, until it appeared the burden was lifted,” Williams said with tears in his eyes.
