View this post on InstagramWell first of all I was nervous as jacks. Because @4everbrandy is a voice that a generation has studied. I’ve studied her and had her in my ears trying to find her tone and all. Then in rehearsal I had @donaldlawrence @stanleyabrown and @bigshiz in my rehearsal while I kept bombing the song. #pressure So, that made me even more nervous. However, I prayed and God was with me once again. Thanks to @woadysworld and @c_brewton for always considering me for such epic moments. This was a dream to have sang one of my favorite songs to one of my favorite celebrities. Everyone doesn’t get the chance to tell one of their biggest inspirations, you love them. I did! @bmi #forLife haaaa! (P.S. thanks to uncle @donaldlawrence for coaching me. I’ll always listen to him. #MyUncle and uncle @stanleyabrown for always looking out. They both were there on my debut moments. Today was special.) #BMIAwards #BrandyTribute
