Girlfriends star, Golden Brooks has a role in the upcoming TNT suspense series “I Am The Night”.

The series is about Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth, by her teenage mother to a black woman (played by Brooks). When she finds out she was adopted, she leaves home searching for her true identity.

Fauna journey leads her to the infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man with dark secrets.

Chris Pine (Wonder Woman) plays a former Marine turned hack reporter who seeks redemption in uncovering the truth behind a Hollywood scandal that has ties to the Black Dahlia murder.

The six episode series premieres in January on the network.
