The Real co-host, Adrienne Bailon (aka Mrs. Israel Houghton) explained the Latin Christian holiday, Three Kings or El Dia de los Reyes, during Girl Chat on the talk show today (Friday).
“It’s a major Hispanic Christmas tradition, especially for me as a boricua,” Mrs. Houghton said as she wished everyone a happy holiday.
She then shared her own experience with the holiday when she was a child.

“Pretty much we don’t want Christmas to stop so we also celebrate the Three Kings,” Adrienne said, identifying the kings as the three wise men from the Bible. “Since I was a little girl I would also put some grass under my bed and my mom would replace the grass with a little gift for me in the day time.”
