The Washington Post reports on a major undercover operation that netted millions of dollars worth of drugs and 161 weapons.
Why do you think we can't go to the last legal owner of each of those guns and find out what went wrong? Don't you think that would lead to the arrest of some professional straw buyers and crooked FFL dealers? Wouldn't putting people like that out of business be good for everyone?
The gun-rights folks have fought against the multiple sales reporting laws, which would prevent much of this gun trafficking before it happens. But they also obstruct efforts to investigate after the fact. Why is that?
