Fibers and fabrics in the fashion world are increasingly hi-tech and sensorial . The consumer wants to maintain their garments ” like new ” for as long as possible and so the wardrobe should be “easy washable” .
Procter & Gamble , the giant American leader in products for the home , studied with designer Giles Deacon, the global fashion consultant for P & G, a Washable Collection , all washable at home and they will also developed a futuristic detergent that will be a real ” beauty regimen ” to regenerate the items during washing .
“I find the relationship among science, fabrics and fashion extremely interesting,” said Deacon. “The next step is the creation of a sellable collection, which we will unveil in February,” he revealed.
