I've been wanting to feature more design from Central and Eastern Europe and I kept thinking again and again about this amazing 80-year old former schoolhouse which I saw on Design Sponge. The owners found the cottage in the countryside of poland, and moved it (!) to Warsaw where they restored it. The cottage feels very real, especially the fact that the staircase is too short so that they had to buy a stool as a first step. The black and white scheme fels actually cosy here, don't you think?
