Warner Records and ‘Probably Nothing’ collaborate for Web3 music label

Warner Records and Web3 media group “Probably Nothing” recently revealed the launch of a new Web3 record label “Probably A Label”. This music label seeks to reshape the future of music by empowering artists and fans via community-based ownership.

Earlier, Warner collaborated with Probably Nothing and Bose for the Stickmen Toys project. The series of 5,000 audio-visual NFTs were provided with utilities containing full intellectual property (IP) rights for holders.

This recent project will take IP rights one step ahead. The soon-to-be-released NFT Label Pass will offer established creators a platform to drop new music, as at the same time giving holders entry to Studio A – an incubation tool with resources to bring their NFT’s IP rights to life. NFT holders from approved projects can come up with ideas and cooperate with Warner Records and probably Nothing to use their NFTs.

First, the Studio A incubator is accepting NFTs from CryptoPunks, BAYC, Pudgy Penguins, Stickmen Toys, Photosynthesis, Doodle, Women and Weapons, and Degen Toonz.

Jeremy Fall, the celebrity restaurateur who released Probably Nothing in January on a mission to bring Web3 to as many people as possible, stated that it was “surreal” to work with Warner Records to change how people experience music in the Web3 space.

Perhaps A Label holders will have access to educational content about the best IP implementation practices as well, recording studio sessions, upcoming releases, unique merchandise and more. Furthermore, a community created NFT project to form the record initial virtual musician is in the works. The project provides holders the right to vote on the storyline, design, and other innovative decisions.

Web3 record labels & projects on the rise

The Studio A Incubator from Likely Nothing and Warner Records is a new twist to Web3 music. But they are not the only record lab experimenting with NFTs, crypto, and blockchain tech. 2- Universal Music Group (UMG) purchased Bored Ape #5537 to add to its virtual music group KINGSHIP. The group was created by 10:22, a record label subsidiary of UMG, and contains three Bored Apes and one Mutant Ape. Bored Ape owners are offered early access to KINGSHIP creations and experiences.

3- Grammy-winning producer Timbaland created “Ape-in ​​Productions” together with BAYC. This record label will work with talent in the BAYC community. The initial single from Web3 hip-hop group The Zoo, called “ApeSh!t”.

Probably A Label and its Studio A incubator from Warner Records and Probably Nothing seems like it could be useful for both established artists and NFT fans, particularly innovative people.
