Padma Bhushan Rahul Dravid is former Indian cricket team player who captained Indian team in test and ODIs. He is considered to be the most promising one down batsman in the world. Dravid was born in Maharashtrian family at Indore but soon shifted to Banglore where his father was working. His father was in Jams and preserves company and hence he got his nickname jammy. He completed degree in commerce and soon he start his international career. In his first test innings he fell short of a ton by 5 runs and till then he never dropped out of the team for performance concern.
