Walking with Dinosaur: The Live Experience
This event could possibly be one of the most exciting moment of my life. I was very fortunate to be able to be transported to a few million or issit billion years back (sorry this girl here can't count beyond a million)! If you were from my era (sounds so old), you would have grown up with the documentary - Walking with Dinosaurs.
It was pretty much a state of the art of its time with the amazing CG. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to be going Walking with Dinosaur - The Live Experience. To be honest, I went to the opening night with sky-high expectations and ready to be immersed with the Kings of the Prehistoric times. (By the way, I am wearing my dinosaur earrings from Cheesebraid. Check out the post here!)

To be completely objective, the whole set didn't use very cutting-edge technology. But the amount of creativity put into the whole performance was rather mind-blowing. A lot of lighting and simple props were used in unexpected way to enhance the whole experience.
I was most bewildered by how they managed to mimic the movement of the dinosaurs. I won't want to share too much details here. Catch it yourself! For such a small stage (with so limited space), they could showcase up to 4 dinosaurs max. Wow!
Walking with Dinosaur: The Live Experience
Definitely a show for the family. Around us, we could hear young kids cheering and screaming out the names of each dinosaurs. Embarrassingly, my knowledge of dinosaurs is nowhere near the toddlers. But, I managed to learn a lot about my world and even pick home a few names. The Hub, who is a huge fan of the T-Rex was very bumped he could not be there. :'(
For you guys who wish to catch a glimpse of this, please note that the show is only until 8 September. They ain't here for very long (till 8 Sept 2019) so you really need to act fast. Would really recommend the seats in front because the dinosaurs would come up closed. Saw many excited kids in the crowds :) Ending this post with some video teasers to let you know what you are in for :P
