Walk This Way

When the blazer trend hit a few years ago, I was instantly hooked. Treading slowly, I picked up black blazers in every cut and variation possible: cropped, velvet, long–you name it–I had it. The black blazer eventually became my clutch. I adored it and it adorned every outfit. It was my pièce de résistance. I wore it with dresses, leggings, and even denim-cutoffs.

I am slowly trying to ween myself from the black blazer addiction and venture into bright colors. It’s a hard addiction to cure, but with spring around the corner, what better time to spread my pastel fashion wings.

This season, change is coming in the form of mint green. It’s a far cry from black and, guess what, it’s the it color for spring. Just remember, no matter what color you opt for, spring blazers should be three-quarter length or short sleeve and made of light fabrics.

I’m a fashion person, and fashion is not only about clothes- it’s about all kinds of change.
