The blog Vulture decided to make a list of HBO’s top assholes and True Blood’s Eric Northman was included! While Eric may be an asshole, Vulture has acknowledged that the viking vampire has shown a softer side lately:
8. True Bloodasshole: Eric (Alexander Skarsgård)
Especially in early seasons, Eric was a suave jerk, a sexual predator, a captor, and a torturer — but goddamn, that is one good-looking jerk. As the show’s gone on, he’s shown a slightly softer side, and his pouty “Sookie” is far sweeter than Bill’s huffy pronunciation.
