Trump's narcissism won't let him accept that he is opposed on most issues by most Americans -- but that is exactly the case. While the figures on the economy are close (with only one point negative gap, within the poll's margin of error), all the other important issues show the public disagreeing with the positions Trump has taken.
Perhaps even more important is the second chart. Last November, a plurality of 48% was willing to give Trump a chance to show he is fit to be president. But his statements and actions since them have destroyed that. Now 64% say they have no confidence in Trump's ability to be president.
These charts were made using results of a new CNN / SSRS Poll -- done between November 2nd and 5th of a random national sample of 1,021 adults, with a 3.6 point margin of error.
