Vivo Y31s 5G has been launched with Snapdragon 480 SoC and dual rear camera setup in China. It is the world’s first smartphone that comes with Snapdragon 480 chipset. Vivo Y31s 5G runs on Funtouch 11 on top of Android 11 out of the box and comes in three color variants – Monot Color, Titanium Empty Gray, and Ruby Red.

Vivo Y31s 5G features a 6.58-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (2408 × 1080 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:7:9 aspect ratio, 90.61% screen-to-body ratio, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Under the hood, It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, Adreno 619 GPU, and coupled with 6GB LDDR4X RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. In terms of camera, The smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel (primary) camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel (depth) sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies & videos, there is an 8-Megapixel front-facing shooter.
The handset packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging technology. In terms of connectivity, Vivo Y31s has 5G, 4G, WI-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0 port. For Sensors, The device includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y31s 5G comes in a single variant of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage that carries a price tag of CNY 1,698 (roughly Rs 19,100). It is already up for pre-order and will go on sale starting January 15 in China. There is no confirmation about whether the company will launch this smartphone in the international market.
