Vivo Y12s arrived as a new mid-range device from the Chinese Tech Giant. It is the successor of Vivo Y12 that was announced last year back in June. The smartphone has some upgrades and a few downgrades as well. The Vivo Y12s features a dual rear camera, HD+ waterdrop notch display, and a big 5000mah battery.

Vivo Y12s features a 6.51 inches IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.


In terms of Camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 10 with FunTouch OS 11 on top.


The device comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro USB slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes with all the basic sensors including a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 7.41mm and weighs 191g weighs.

Vivo Y12s comes in a single variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage that is priced at HK$ 1,098 and the company offered two color options namely Phantom Black and Glacier Blue.
