Vivo's new premium mid-range phone is about to hit the market. While the company has not confirmed anything on the matter, a handset with model number V2428 has appeared on India's Bureau of Indian Standards or BIS platform, raising speculations. The phone was previously spotted in the IMEI database. From where its marketing name is known as Vivo V50e.
Vivo V50 series is coming to India and global markets soon
The BIS certification, however, did not reveal any specifications of the Vivo V50e. On the other hand, another phone from Vivo with model number V2427 has appeared at Thailand's NBTC certification, confirming the V50 name. The smartphone is said to support GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR connectivity.
Note that Vivo V50 series has been spotted on various global certification platforms recently. Earlier Vivo V50 and V50e appeared on Europe's EEC certification site. As a result, it is expected to be launched very soon. The V50 model is rumored to be a rebranded version of Vivo's S20 smartphone. It was launched in China in November last year.
