As shared earlier, Vivo has launched its selfie focused Vivo V5 Plus in India today. The USP of the phone is its dual-front facing camera that Vivo claims will click crystal clear selfies with Bokeh Effects. The phone has been priced at Rs. 27,980 and will go up for pre-orders from Tuesday. It will be available to buy via major e-commerce stores and offline retail stores from February 1.
Vivo V5 Plus Specifications
V5 Plus features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution protected with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz with an Adreno 506 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM. V5 Plus comes with 64GB of Internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB (via microSD, using SIM 2 slot)
Dual-Front Selfie Camera on V5 Plus
The highlight of V5 Plus is on the front camera like Vivo V5 (Review). It comes with a 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto-focus and LED flash. The selfie camera on Vivo V5 Plus includes a 20MP lens coupled with an 8MP lens and the aperture is f/2.0 aperture. The selfie cameras create a bokeh style effect which creates low depth of field effect for clicking portraits.
V5 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 out of the box. Other features include a fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3,160 mAh battery.
