More about: Vitosha

The Vitosha Park Hotel is a good location found on the foot of Vitosha mountain – away from the city’s hustle yet close to the modern business rhythm. To be honest this is the only positive thing about this hotel. If you read the info on their website, you will imagine that you will be staying at a luxurious palace, but unfortunately in reality this is not the case. The Vitosha Park Hotel is one of the most unprofessional hotels I have ever stayed experienced in my life.

It can be a good two stars not more! Not even a three stars and surely not a four as they claim! Where ever you look whatever you try – its all unprofessional.

The rooms:
- A kitchenette. What for?
- A door that opens to the outside of the room
- Very unappealing bathroom and room doors just one perpendicular to the other
- A slow Internet connection that doesn’t work in the room unless you approach to the door to connect to the WiFi spot of the second floor considering I was on the fifth
- No facial tissues
- Old and unpleasant bathroom that urgently needs to be changed and upgraded
- No safe
- Extremely small beds
- Old furniture
- Broken door
- A dirty fridge
- Local channels on the TV

Expect to sleep in the smallest bed imaginable covered by the smallest blanket ever.

The bathroom: it’s worth describing it independently:
- Water plays between hot and cold making you dance and jump like a monkey under the shower.
- The toilet chair is broken
- They have unprofessional nylon shower curtains
- Toilet paper is deposited next to the sink
- Old and torn towels (Check the pictures)

An unpleasant experience I will never repeat.

In close proximity for some quick tourism are:
· The Assumption Monastery
·  Saint Nicolas Monastery
· Petropavlovski Monastery St. St. Apostles Peter and Paul
· Nativity Museum Church
· St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel Museum Church
·  Constantsalievata House-Museum.

Imagine the worst part: The next day, after leaving the hotel to another city, our tour organizer asked us for the hotel room keys back. Yes, they even asked for those simple magnetic cards back, something I don’t really accept.
