Skipper Vishmi Gunarathne struck a fine unbeaten knock of 125 in 92 balls with 15 fours and 2 sixes as Rathnawali BMV recorded 66 runs victory over Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda in the final to take Inter school girls under 19 champions title. The final was worked off at the Bloomfield grounds yesterday.

The right hand opener Vishmi Gunarathne leading from the front steer Gampaha lasses to build up their total 199 for 5 wickets in their 30 overs. Anulians in reply were managed to get 133 for 9 wickets in 29.3 overs while number 11 batter Samadhi Nethmini did not come to bat due to an injury.

Meanwhile Devapathiraja Ratgama defeated Wadduwa Central by 54 runs in their third position match played at the same venue Bloomfield on the morning session yesterday.
