Press Release: Manila, Philippines. 3M Philippines, a supporter of the Virlanie Foundation, a non-government organization which cares for street children, helped Virlanie children meet NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues at the National Training Camp of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2013 held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall last April 2013.
The children were welcomed by NBA officials and Muggsy Bogues and treated them to front row seats to watch the Jr. NBA All Star Alumni game, and among other Jr. NBA activities. Muggsy Bogues gave each child a Jr. NBA baller bands, Jr. NBA sling bags, and autographed pictures. He took a special moment to engage them in an inspirational chitchat and treated the children with KFC lunch.
They also took home tokens from event sponsors such as Alaska Milk and Rexona. The Virlanie children were all smiles as they enjoyed a whole day of basketball fun.
