The 500th ticket on a Virgin Galactic journey to space has been purchased!
And it seems as though the lucky buyer happens to be celebrity Ashton Kutcher, who claims he had a childhood dream of going into space.
Sir Richard Branson himself congratulated Ashton on his purchase and welcomed him as "being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself."
The launch is a highly anticipated event, as it will be the first commercial flight beyond the earth's atmosphere. Other celebrities that have already secured their own spots are Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Katy Perry.
