In the video below a Russian transgender woman being attacked by five men in a public park hit the Internet during the weekend. The video shows the transgender woman being beaten, kicked in the head and dragged around the park by the five men.
Via the YouTube details: "The video, posted on popular Russian social networking site VK, appeared on a page titled Straights for Equality, a group advocating for LGBT rights. The intention was to highlight the persecution of LGBT people in Russia."
The man filming can be heard laughing as the victim is beaten and another person can be seen watching without even attempting to help.
